    ​​​ARTIST'S STATEMENT
    Since childhood I have always loved to draw and paint. I am fascinated with still and moving water, reflections on water, light and shadow, shapes and colours. I like to paint from nature, using my sketches, my camera, still life, or pleinaire.                              
     I have always been passionate about painting.
    ​The ultimate is painting pleinaire, or out in nature. With the ever changing light , one has to make quick decisions in composition and colour. It is very challenging and also very rewarding.
