I was born and raised in Saskatchewan and studied to become a teacher after secondary school. I taught school in Manitoba and Ontario.
All the while, I was having fun with my art. I took art courses through the universities and college extension programs, as well as local recreation classes and workshops. Teaching others to paint in classes and workshops has been a joy for me.
My paintings have been exhibited in galleries in Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
I have been involved in solo and group shows through the years and have won several awards for my paintings.
I have been an active member of the Federation of Canadian
Artists for 18 years and have been accepted into many local
Federation Chapter Shows, as well as the Federation Gallery
Shows on Granville Island.
